The University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) engaged AfroCloud to design and develop a fully digitized, self-paced eLearning course to support its blended and remote learning initiatives. AfroCloud converted UGHE's existing academic and training content into an interactive digital course optimized for delivery through the university's learning management system, ensuring accessibility for learners across different locations and schedules.
AfroCloud applied instructional design best practices to structure the course, integrating multimedia elements, assessments, and learner engagement features aligned with UGHE's competency-based education model. The digitized course enhances continuity of learning, improves knowledge retention, and enables UGHE to scale its health education programs beyond the physical campus while maintaining academic quality and advancing its mission of global health equity.
RTI International engaged AfroCloud to design and develop a comprehensive school curriculum for students supported through its education programs. AfroCloud worked with RTI to translate research-driven educational frameworks into a structured, student-centred curriculum that could be effectively implemented across diverse learning environments.
AfroCloud applied curriculum design and instructional best practices to develop clear learning objectives, sequenced lesson plans, assessment strategies, and supporting instructional resources. The curriculum emphasizes competency-based learning, critical thinking, and practical application, aligning with RTI International's evidence-based approach to education improvement. This work enables RTI and its partner institutions to deliver consistent, high-quality learning experiences that strengthen student outcomes and support educators in delivering effective, engaging instruction at scale.
Deutsche Stiftung Weltbevölkerung (DSW) contracted AfroCloud to design and develop a digitized eLearning course and supporting explanation videos using advanced video tools such as Vyond and Camtasia to support youth education and empowerment initiatives. DSW is an international development organisation dedicated to promoting sexual and reproductive health, gender equality, and youth empowerment, particularly in East Africa.
AfroCloud worked closely with DSW to convert educational content into an engaging online course, incorporating clear instructional modules and animated video explainers tailored to young learners and community educators. The course and videos were developed to be accessible across devices and complemented DSW's existing outreach efforts, enhancing knowledge retention and supporting independent learning. This project enables DSW to extend its impact by offering flexible digital learning experiences that further its mission of empowering young people to lead healthy, informed lives.
